Verduzzo

Grape variety: Friulian Verduzzo grown in the province of Udine since 1830 and subsequently spread to the eastern part of Veneto.
Colour: deep, shiny golden yellow.
Palate: full-bodied with a hint of tannis, smoothed out by a well-balanced sugar content
Nose: hints of ripe fruit and honey
Matching with food: ideal as a dessert wine to accompany tarts biscuits.
Serving temperature: 12 – 14°C.
Pinot Grigio

Grape variety: Pinot Grigio, which arrived in the Veneto fron France around the mid 1900s.
Colour: amber yellow
Palate: dry with good body, minerally with hints of vanilla.
Nose: a delicate boquet of almond blossom and dry hay
Matching with food: pairs well with egg and vegetable dishes, mushrooms and risottos
Serving temperature: 10 – 12°C.
Tai

Grape variety: Tocai Friulano, a variety that dates back to ancient times.
Colour: straw yellow with slight greenish tinges
Palate: good body, velvety and with the characteristic almond aftertaste.
Nose: reminiscent of meadow flowers and walnut kernels
Matching with food: ideal with soft cheeses and fish-based starters.
Serving temperature: around 12°C.
Chardonnay

Grape variety: Chardonnay, arrived in Italy from France and it’s one of the world’s most popular varieties.
Colour: pale straw yellow.
Palate: minerally and persistent, with luscious exotic fruit flavours.
Nose: refined delicate nose reminiscent of green apple.
Matching with food: makes a good aperitif and pairs well with starter dishes and fish salad.
Serving temperature: very cool, 10°C.
Prosecco
extra dry semi-sparkling wine

Grape variety: Glera, known formaly as Prosecco, originating from Venezia Giulia.
Colour: bright, shiny straw yellow.
Palate: full, rounded, attractive palate wit lemon verbena on the finish
Nose: delicate floral nose with apple and peach notes.
Matching with food: a good wine for social drinking, matches well with elegant starters and fish based meals.
Serving temperature: cold, 6 – 8°C.
Rosè

Grape variety: Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
Colour: cherry pink
Palate: smooth on the palate with a vein of sweetness and hints of jam
Nose: distinctive nose of ripe grapes with notes of cherry and plum
Matching with food: best drunk on its own or as an accompaniment to fruit tarts
Serving temperature: 12 – 14°C.
Merlot

Grape variety: Merlot, originally a French variety, widely grown in Italy since 1800.
Colour: ruby red, takes on garnet reflections with age
Palate: good body with slight tannins
Nose: ripe grape and cherry nose reminiscent of wine
Matching with food: ideal with Italian-style starters, accompanies all courses of a meal.
Serving temperature: 18°C, better when opened 30 minutes before drinking.
Refosco
dal Peduncolo Rosso

Grape variety: a variety indigenous to Friuli wich also performs superbly in the eastern Veneto area.
Colour: deep ruby red with purplish reflections
Palate: robust palate with slight tannins that imapr a dry, persistent aftertaste
Nose: distinctive nose of wild blackberry and forest undergrowth
Matching with food: meat dishes with sauces and gravies, roast flavoured with spices, game
Serving temperature: 18°C, better when opened 30 minutes before drinking.
Cabernet Franc

Grape variety: originally a French variety, widely grown in Italy since the 1800s.
Colour: deep ruby red with garnet tones
Palate: generous and penetrating, marked personality.
Nose: typical grassy nose that reminiscent of hay and sweet pepper.
Matching with food: roasted meats, game andripened cheeses.
Serving temperature: around 18°C, better when opened 30 minutes before drinking.
Cabernet Sauvignon

Grape variety: a veriety that arrived in Italy in the 1800s from the Bordeaux area in France
Colour: deep ruby red.
Palate: good structure, minerally and velvety, with a persistent aftertaste
Nose: subtle nose of violet and blueberry with nuances of sweet pepper
Matching with food: roasts and red meat, gnocchi Bolognese sauce.
Serving temperature: around 18°C, better when opened 30 minutes before drinking.
Malbech
sparkling

Grape variety: French variety, grond expecially in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia
Colour: ruby red, acquires granet tones with time
Palate: firm taste with slight tannins
Nose: aromatic erbs reminiscent of cherry and raspberry
Matching with food: best drunk on its own or with snacks
Serving temperature: cool, 12-14°C

Our wines are also available in the convenient “5-liter box” with dispensing tap

The bag in box stored wine maintains its characteristics intact even over long periods of time. The dispensing tap is fitted with a valve that completely isolates the content after the opening, protecting it until the last glass.
